Spiritual Healing
Question:
My
intellectual faculties are profoundly debilitated; whatever I commit to study
vanishes from memory. Driven by this chronic cerebral exhaustion, I wander in a
perpetual state of daze and distraction. Favor me with a sacred invocation to
eliminate this mental weakness.
Answer:
Upon
concluding the Fajr prayer, remaining seated on your prayer mat, recite eleven
times:
Yā Ḥafīẓu Yā Ḥafīẓu Yā Ḥafīẓu, Yā Shāfī Yā Shāfī Yā Shāfī, Yā Kāfī Yā
Kāfī Yā Kāfī
(یَا حَفِیْظُ یَا حَفِیْظُ یَا حَفِیْظُ، یَا شَافِی یَا
شَافِی یَا شَافِی، یَا كَافِی یَا كَافِی یَا كَافِی)
over
a glass of water, blow upon it, and drink it on an empty stomach. Refrain from
ingesting food or drink for half an hour thereafter. Practicing this discipline
uninterruptedly for forty consecutive days systematically eradicates cerebral
fatigue and strengthens cognition.
Question:
While
watching television, my elder sister suffered sudden vertigo and cephalic pain,
lapsing into unconsciousness. This soon crystallized into recurrent convulsive
episodes characterized by twisting, quivering limbs and upward-deviating eyes.
The seizures fluctuate; at times she remains well for months, while at other
times severe seizures strike, accompanied by piercing screams and weeping,
requiring emergency hospitalization where sedatives and oxygen are
administered. Physicians remain perplexed, and traditional remedies brought no
improvement.
Furthermore,
my twelve-year-old nephew suffered a high fever at age two; hours later, an
acute convulsive seizure struck: his limbs locked in severe spasms, his eyes
rolled back, frothing saliva issued from his mouth, and involuntary micturition
occurred. These convulsive fits began recurring at intervals of minutes and
hours. Hospitalization and amulets proved futile. Ever since, the child has
remained devoid of normal consciousness. Physicians state that while his
physical frame matured, his brain ceased development, retaining the anatomical
volume of an infant. He exhibits acute obstinacy, relentlessly bites his own
fingers, demands to wear the exact same garment repeatedly, smells everything
compulsively before eating, and demands that actions performed once before him
be endlessly reiterated.
Answer:
Procure
a pane of plain window glass measuring 9 by 12 inches (standard architectural
glass, not a reflective mirror), paint it vibrant crimson red, and position it
so that the child's gaze falls repeatedly upon it; at night, the designated
viewing interval should span two and a half hours. The prescribed course of
therapy is five months. It is imperative that the child be kept free from
constipation.
Whenever
water or any beverage is offered to the child, recite once:
بِسْمِ اللّٰہِ اَلْرَحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْم
اَلْطَرَّقُ النَّاسُ وَ الُا جِنَّتَہٗ وَالرُّوْحُ
اَلْعِبَادُ اَالصَّالِحِیْنَ فِی اَلْکُوْن
and
blow upon the liquid. Consult a proficient scholar or Arabic linguist to ensure
flawless articulation of the vocalic markers (i‘rāb).
