Question:
With your permission, I commenced the introductory
exercise of telepathy, and I submit herewith my experiences and interior states
as instructed:
The moment I close my eyes for meditation, diverse
colors disperse before my inward sight; occasionally, vibrant multi-colored
sparklers appear to ignite and shower down. During the practice, my physical
form feels so weightless that I lose all awareness of my physical existence.
One day, upon standing up after concluding the session, I felt as though I was
walking in empty space—the sensation of gravitational pull had completely
vanished. This state persisted for roughly twenty seconds.
Remarkably, during the exercise, I perceive
thoughts in cinematic sequences—that is, in vivid pictorial imagery—and at
other times, thoughts resonate audibly within me like voices. The elements of
inner chaos and fear have dissipated, and I have begun to feel a profound sense
of self-confidence.
One night during the rhythmic breathing exercise, a
brilliant luminous flash suddenly burst before my eyes. I assumed someone had
switched on a fluorescent tube light. Involuntarily, I opened my eyes, only to
find the surroundings still steeped in total darkness. A few minutes later, an
inward vision presented a mirror, and I beheld myself reflected within it.
My sleep has grown remarkably deep. The moment I
drift into slumber, an uninterrupted series of dreams begins and continues
through the night, displaying vistas such as lush gardens, flowing streams,
majestic mountains, and vibrant valleys.
A specific point I wish to bring to your attention
is that on certain days, the meditation and practice feel immensely delightful,
and internal states intensify; yet soon after, a sense of weariness, boredom,
and lethargy sets in. Despite my intentions, I end up missing the prescribed
routine.
Answer:
Whenever any esoteric or spiritual practice is
undertaken, radiant shifts and energetic recalibrations begin occurring within
the lights of the human soul. These manifest as an array of novel sensory
impressions and inner phenomena—such as hearing subtle voices, experiencing the
suspension of gravitational pull, and related occurrences. The underlying
mechanics of how this unfolds require an extensive theoretical exposition.
When these subtle energetic transitions occur, the
ordinary temperament is not immediately habituated to them. Gradually, such
perceptions normalize into routine faculties. For a transient period, the
subconscious faculties dominate, after which their ascendancy recedes. While
the psychological and energetic readjustment completes its cycle, the psyche
tends to repeat this rhythm. During this transitional resistance, the
temperament gravitates toward avoidance, reluctance, and lethargy, disrupting
the continuity of your daily practice.
What you must do is sit for meditation strictly at
the appointed hour; disregard the fluctuating moods of your temperament,
complete the designated duration of the exercise, and then rise. If the
inclination toward avoidance emerges within you, let it arise without yielding
to it.
