Question:
I am exceedingly frail and
emaciated; my body resembles a mere skeleton. If I wear a slightly fitted
shirt, my ribs and chest bones become conspicuously visible. Whenever any girl
glances at me, she breaks into laughter, mocking: "Where did this walking
skeleton come from?" I feel utterly unfit to go out in society. I
constantly think that had I been well-built, people would not ridicule me so
cruelly. Despite this extreme thinness, my height is six feet. I have undergone
chest X-rays, conducted blood panels, and I consume meat and milk daily. For
the sake of God, prescribe a formula that will help me gain weight.
Answer:
In the same manner that sweet
chickpea pudding (chane ki daal ka halwa) is prepared, cook and store
sweet black gram pudding. Consume a portion of it daily, morning and evening;
your body will gradually attain healthy fullness. At night, take one spoonful
of pure honey, recite over it once Ar-Raḍā‘atu ‘Amā Nawīl (اَلرَّضَاعَتُ عَمَا نَوِیْلُ), blow upon it, and consume it.
Question:
I am afflicted with chronic
gastrointestinal illness accompanied by frequent diarrhea. If my food contains
even a trace of spice, a sharp ache erupts in my stomach. The pain originates
on both sides of my lower pelvic region and radiates upward into the stomach.
It becomes so excruciating that I can barely suppress my screams. Then, all at
once, relief arrives, only for the agony to resurface within two or three
minutes. Conventional medications offer only transient relief before the
symptoms return. Recently, whenever this pain strikes, violent chills take hold
of me and my body begins to tremble. The moment the pain subsides, the chills
cease as well.
Answer:
In the morning on an empty
stomach, in the late afternoon after Asr prayer, and at night before retiring
to sleep, recite:
(هُوَ اللّٰهُ الْخَالِقُ
الْبَارِئُ الْمُصَوِّرُ لَهُ الْاَسْمَآءُ الْحُسْنٰی)
over a glass of water, blow
upon it, and drink. Include bottle gourd abundantly in your daily meals.
