Treatment for Eczema

 Question:

For the past year and a half, the skin on my wife’s hands has been chronically damaged. It began with small eruptions and itching. Subsequently, deep cracks formed across the inner surface of her palms, and her hands turned as hard as dry wood. We sought treatment from various physicians and herbal practitioners and consulted countless dermatologists, but met only with despair everywhere. Some diagnose it as an allergy, while others attribute it to calcium deficiency. She suffers persistent pain on the inner surface of her hands along with intermittent itching, causing extreme hardship in managing household chores. Doctors have advised her to abstain from soap, washing powder, and water, as their contact aggravates the condition.

Answer:

Using a broad pen, inscribe the following phrase in bold script upon a large, sturdy sheet of paper:

فِی نَوحٍ رَاحَ زَھَا نِیّٰہٍ

Gently rub this paper over the parts of the body affected by eczema. When the paper becomes worn and frayed, burn it. For several days, abstain entirely from salt, red chili, warm spices, and all types of meat (meat includes both eggs and fish). The duration of this treatment is 21 days. God willing, the ailment will be eradicated permanently. If slight symptoms persist, continue the practice for an additional 21 days.
