(Schizophrenia with Auditory Hallucinations- Get Away from Here

 Question:

My younger brother, who is roughly twenty-three years of age, is not in his right state of mind. During childhood, he was unusually quiet. As he came of age, he began falling into excessive self-absorption. Gradually, this tendency worsened; now, he locks himself in his room and converses aloud. I have frequently eavesdropped on his conversations. Addressing an unseen girl, he says: "I forbade you to come—why did you return? Leave, get away from here!" Then he rebukes her in intense rage, occasionally swearing, and at other times laughing aloud at past memories. Furthermore, he never exposes any part of his physical frame, and if anyone so much as brushes against him, he turns combative. He remains strictly isolated from everyone.

When I once inquired who he was speaking to, he revealed that a girl with long, untied hair visits and sits beside him. He has never seen her face. Whenever she appears, he shouts at her to leave, yet she compels him to converse. Additionally, he exhibits compulsive behavioral habits. Previously, he incessantly twisted his shirt collar; after great difficulty breaking that habit, he began constantly crumpling and rubbing newspapers in his hand. Having broken that, for the past two or three years he carries a currency note everywhere, relentlessly rubbing and crumpling it with one hand—whether at home, in public markets, or at social gatherings. When talking to his unseen visitor, his rubbing accelerates violently. My brother is trapped in terrible torment. At times, he speaks with remarkable intellect, leaving us astonished. We cannot fathom his affliction; perhaps someone has cast black magic upon him. Please prescribe a therapy using color and light that I can easily administer.

Answer:

This is a purely psychiatric case. Consult a qualified psychologist or psychiatrist for clinical management. It is astonishing that you witnessed his deteriorating condition since childhood, yet no one in the household prioritized proper treatment.

Alongside psychiatric care, administer the following light and color therapy:

  • Blue-charged solarized water: 2 ounces, morning and evening.
  • Yellow-charged solarized water: 2 ounces, prior to meals.
  • Red-charged solarized water: 2 ounces, after meals.
  • At night, take one spoonful of pure honey, recite once over it Ar-Raḍā‘atu ‘Amā Nawīl (اَلرَّضَاعَتُ عَمَا نَوِیْلُ), blow upon it, and ingest.

Abstain strictly from dietary salt and sour foods.
